DANEGROVE INFANTS AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
DAY: FRIDAY | TIME: 3:15PM - 4:15PM | LOCATION: DANEGROVE SCHOOL, EN4 8UD
Our Performing Arts after school club is specially designed for Reception and Year 1 pupils at Danegrove Primary School. Through fun, energetic sessions, children explore movement, rhythm, creativity, and drama in a safe and supportive environment.

It’s the perfect way for young dancers and actors to build confidence, develop coordination and communication skills, and express themselves , all while having a great time with friends.
​
Each summer, our students get the exciting opportunity to perform in a show in a local theatre alongside other schools, including East Barnet, giving them a chance to shine on stage and celebrate their hard work.
​
When children move into Year 2, they have the option to continue their journey by joining our Academy at East Barnet School. JoRo teachers safely walk all pupils from Danegrove to East Barnet School, ensuring a smooth and secure transition.​
​
Reception will begin their club sessions on 26th September. The price has been adjusted accordingly, so please ensure you sign up for the correct year group.
Please note this is only for pupils who attend Danegrove.
EAST BARNET ACADEMY
DAY: WEDNESDAY | TIME: 4PM - 6PM | LOCATION: EAST BARNET SCHOOL, EN4 8PU
East Barnet Academy is specially designed for Year 2 to Year 6 pupils from any school. The pupils are split into age groups, Year 2 - Year 4 and Year 5 - Year 6.
Year 2 – Year 4
In these sessions, children build on their foundations by developing stronger technique, performance skills, and creative expression in a fun and encouraging environment. We help them gain confidence, work as part of a team, and explore their passion for the Performing Arts while learning age-appropriate skills and routines.

Year 5 – Year 6
In these sessions, students focus on refining their technique, performance skills, and artistic expression through more challenging choreography, scripts, and creative projects. We aim to stretch their abilities, nurture their passion for the Performing Arts, and help them grow into confident, expressive, and resilient young performers.

Each summer, students have the exciting opportunity to showcase their progress in a performance at a local theatre, alongside other schools, including Danegrove, providing a professional platform to celebrate their dedication and hard work.
​
For Year 2 to Year 6 pupils attending Danegrove School, JoRo teachers ensure a smooth and safe transition by accompanying students as they walk to East Barnet School to join the club. Any pupils attending from other schools will be met at East Barnet School.
